I play the game and after a little bit it crashes, it says "sim city as stopped working" i know it has nothing to do with my graphix card or anything because it used to do it with simcity 4 not that long ago. I dont know how to fix it, It will not stop crashing. I dont know if its origin but im starting to dislike origin a lot because of these issues.
My game crashes too. I can play it for around 10 minutes (IN THE BEST CASE) and then it stops. Most of the time, I have to start again because my progress wasn't saved.
I updated my everything to the latest drivers. I've got a GTX670 and an i5 3570K.
Edit: this error is thrown:

My laptop runs Windows 8 is core i7 with 8gigs ram.
After playing for some 10-20mins laptop switches off suddenly. !! This keeps happening.
and when i turn it on and play game all the progress didnt get saved so hv to start frm scratch.
Same here. Just now experience a game crash, after that i re-install the whole thing and still crash at launch of the program.
After that i restart, and now is working - downloading the update took so long.
Yesterday play new city after 5 mins it shutdown and the game didnt save at all.
Encounter almost 5 times. i decided to sleep ☹️
Please EA do something.
This is seriously getting on my nerves. I have now played the tutorial for around an hour, unfortunately that hour has been made up of 5 minutes... CRASH... 3 Mintutes... CRASH... etc.
Then I finally get it to ignore the tutorial, get 10 minutes and... CRASH... Now I can't get back into the server again unless I wait 20 minutes. What a joke!
I guess I am going to have to pick another server, or wait a few weeks until EA get their fingers out of their *, and do the **bleep** tutorial again!

Played most of the day yesterday with no problems. This morning my computer switches off suddenly (as if you just pulled the power cord from the wall). Start back up and load SimCity.. play for about 10 minutes and CTD. Updated GeForce drivers to 3.14 and still having problems.

Hope EA can get this resolved soon. I'm still wondering why this game is only playable while online.. Played simcity since the 90's on a Tandy 1000! Depedning on game servers for this game is just rediculous..
Keep getting crashes every 10 minutes or something.
Most annoying thing is that my progress isn't saved and there's no easy way to save my progress unless I leave and reload the region.
