I have over 70 hours according to Origin. I never had any problems with crashing or freezing.
Then just now, I had three freezes in a row. The mouse cursor stopped moving. no keys were responding, not even escape.
Alt-Ctrl-Del worked, it it said SimCity was not responding, so I had to force close it.
So I restarted the game and went to the same city and it froze again in only a few minutes.
I rebooted my computer then and tried again.
Same thing freeze a few minutes into loading up my city and doing stuff.
The thing I was working around was a trade port. I deleted some plastic storage to make room for freight storage, and it crashed the second two times then. the first time it crashed, I hadn't done that yet. I just clicked on a car to see where it was going, but the car had just come from the trade port.
I'm going to try another city to make see if its my computer or the game, or maybe just something corrupted on that city.
Same has been happening to me too, just freezes and I'm having to force close the game.
Always seems to be when I'm editing a trade depot or port too. I've got two processor factories, a depot and a port, with a population of around 85,000
same here. Whenever I'm checking my import/export needs bam! I get a locked city with music and a non functioning hourglass and after a little bit the screen goes a shade lighter, almost white. Not cool
