Happening to me as well.
Started a second city in the same region, was working well for several hours then when I went to reload it after visting a different city in the region it froze on loading. I can now get in but can only play for 5 - 10 minutes before it freezes on me.
I had a friend visit the same city and they said they are having the same issue where it freezes on them as well.
Happening to me as well. One city works fine with no freezing, the other freezes less than 1 minute after playing, happens every time. Still get sound and mouse but can't click on anything. Pretty disappointed that there is still this many bugs in the game.
I can play a city for hours on end without a single freeze. The minute I claim and load a second city, 5 minutes into the game, and it freezes for up to 8 minutes. The game hangs the computer completely and I need to hard shutdown, or wait for up to 8 minutes to get my game back. Then 5 minutes of gameplay, I''m waiting another 8minutes. Either way, I can't do anything but try to CTRL ALT DEL, or shutdown, or wait.
I can restart, get back to my original city, and guess what; no problems.
ITs impossible for me to play a second city.
Why aren't we getting frequent updates when the game is so badly flawed.
All I want is to play this game on my off time. It is relaxing etc. BUT the game keep freezing after about 5 mins of game play. I have uninstalled deleted all reference under appdata and reinstalled.... it still freezes
If this doesn't get fixed i am going to do a charge back this is totally unacceptable with all the other crap i have been dealing with since this game came out. BTW i don't care if you ban my origins account this is the only game i have because you forced that. You think i am going to purchase more games from your store after this crap.!!!??!!?!?! This game wasn't made by a 3rd party it was made by you EA
SimCity 5 v1.8 has created an application hang on mining cities with trade depot for inport/export goods. Have to terminate CimSity 5 process after game freeze. Please fix this issue & in the future DO NOT RELEASE PATCHES without thoroughly testing them!
