Nevermind, I directly set the simcity.exe and origin to run as administrator and rebooted and then it worked.
EA StaffRight click on Origin icon
Select Properties
Click Compatibility Tab
Check "Run this program as an administrator"
Do the same on the SimCity game icon (if you don't have one on your desktop create one), if you are in "Metro" interface, press the Windows button to go to Desktop view and put an Origin and SimCity shortcut on there to save time.
That fix didn't work for me. I don't have probloems with any other games, only SimCity.
Frankly I want my money back. I shouldn't have to futz around like this just to play a game.
