Simcity multiplayer city sync does not seem to work [very slow]

Hey guys, I'm playing a private region together with my brother, same house different Origin accounts, it seems to me that our city link is not working correctly. e.g. if I lend him a firetruck it ...

Slow sync is still a problem. Not experiencing it's 25min slow. More like 5-10min. It's still a very long time and kind of gamebreaking since most scenarios don't last that long, or it's to late.
