Hi @SightedBike273 - this error usually means that there was a problem with synching to the server, and some of the information got corrupted. The critical part is whether the corruption happened on the client side or the server side. There has been some limited success in recovering cities if the data corruption is on the client side (your computer). If you have any mods installed, remove them. Mods are not supported on multiplayer.
The first thing you can try is to completely exit the game, then re-enter the game but instead of choosing to resume your game, click the Play button. Go to the region that has this city, click on the city and try loading from there. If the game gives you the option to "Rollback" your game, choose that. You might lose some progress in that city, but a rollback will revert the game on the server and allow you to enter at an earlier, non-corrupted time.
If that doesn't work, make note of your server and region/city names so you can find it again if you lose your history. Try each of these steps one at a time:
- Load city from Region View - If possible, enter a working city in the same region. Go to the Region View and click on the city which gives the error, and load the city from there. If you can get into the city from region view, let it run for a few minutes then save and exit.
- Delete the EcoGame folder - Exit SimCity completely. Copy the EcoGame folder to your desktop or another safe place as a backup - default location is C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\SimCity\SimCityUserData\EcoGame Delete the EcoGame folder from SimCityUserData. Launch the game - it will tell you there's an update to SimCity. Accept the update & once it's downloaded fresh files, enter your city. (If possible, load a different city in the region that you know works. Then go to the Region View and try to load the city from there.) Be aware it can take some time to load - the game will download the server info for the city to your computer and this can take some patience, depending on your network speed.
- Delete the LocalStorage folder - If removing EcoGame doesn't work, exit SimCity again. Copy the LocalStorage folder to your desktop or another safe place as a backup - default location is C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\SimCity\SimCityUserData\WebStorage\LocalStorage Delete the LocalStorage folder - follow the same procedure to try to load the city again.
If none of the above works, you can try a brute force approach and just move the entire \Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\SimCity\SimCityUserData\ folder to your desktop to force an update to all of your files. This will also remove your config settings & server history, so they will need to be re-selected after starting the game.
If you still get the error message, the data corruption is likely on the server side. If that's the case, the city is probably lost. You'll have to leave the affected city as it is now and play the other cities in the region, or start over with a new region. If you're buying resources from the city that won't load, as long as you don't abandon it, it will continue supplying those available resources (power, water, etc).
Check the following to reduce the chance of corruption in the future:
Remove mods - Mods are not supported in MultiPlayer Mode
Firewall and Antivirus - Make sure SimCity.exe and Origin.exe are added to exception lists. If you have BitDefender installed, disable it.
Graphics drivers and OS are patched and updated to newest versions
SimCity.exe and Origin.exe - Set them to run "as administrator"
Nahimic 2 from MSI - this is an audio management program that comes with MSI motherboards. Disable or uninstall it. Nahimic 2 is known to cause this issue.
Disable Origin in-game In Origin main menu, right-click SimCity icon, Game Properties, check the box that says "Disable Origin In-game"
I hope this gets your city running. 🤞 Happy building!

@BlackjackWidow
I'm sorry, but this reply is bull.
Almost everyone is experiencing the same since late yesterday afternoon (My current time is 7PM, Netherlands).
Everybody is complaining about it in the ingame chat.

@jusobreiraSeems more and more to me that EA doesn't give much about the issues we have.
Call me addicted to SC2013, but with over 7600 hours of SC2013 since the release date (mostly running in the background), I do think I have the right to ask EA to look into it. As others, who may have way less or similar hours in this game, have too.
What bothers me the most, is that forum mods (whether they work for EA or not), tend to lay the problem by the user itself. Which, after reviewing thousands of posts on mostly Reddit and Twitter, is not the case. Nobody gets a real answer. Everybody keeps getting told to 'fix corrupted files or deleted particular contains from a said folder' in order to get it to work.
But the main issue here, is that since Thursday almost everyone playing SC2013, is getting the 'your city is not processing blablabla'-error.
Apart from the lack of support under Windows 10 X64 for SC2013 (even in 2013/2014 the majority of the gamers already used an X64 OS), this is again a sign that EA does not care too much about it. I know that games are not that expensive anymore, especially older ones. But that doesn't mean that a game like this one should be left alone with all its negative perks and bad coding without support. If I buy an Audi S8 or a Dacia Sandero Stepway, I get support for either cars no matter the cost. What's the deal here with games then ?
Apart from the lack of support (like: no support at all) for the game TDU2 (Test Drive Unlimited 2) which launched in 2011 and shut down in 2017, this game is the runner up.
I don't want to start a whole discussion here whether this or that is better of worse, but another thing that annoys a shitton to me is that most people cannot claim an abandoned city 'because they don't have the necessary packs'. I have the complete edition and still I cannot take over some abandoned cities 'because I'm missing something'. That was not the whole idea behind(re)claiming an abandoned city right ?
But again, fix your damn servers or take it offline. This is no good for anyone who's a huge fan (like me) of the SimCity-games, over any other city building game out there that have 0 issues (CitiesXL/CitiesXXL for example or Cities Skylines).
It comes to this, we demand either a solution or an explanation as to what causes the issues in the past week. Stop replying with 'fixes' that do not fix the issues here.
Nobody is so stupid not to look at (older) topics that have already hit the spot on this forum.
