Just thought I would add my name to the list of people with this very problem. Using a 6950. Hopefully there will be a fix sooner rather than later.

Bluescreens randomly during gameplay. And have never had bluescreens on this system ever until this week with SimCity. Drivers are up to date, but have uninstalled and reinstalled anyway. Windows is updated. No malware etc. Temps are fine. Done a tonne of googling, and am now just fed up. The game is great! WHEN I CAN ACTUALLY PLAY IT FOR MORE THAN 10 MINUTES. I run the game on minimal graphics settings and it still dies. Yet I've tested hours on other games with graphics at ultra, just trying to make it crash, and it handles it fine.
I have an ATI too, BlueScreenViewer tells me it's driver "atikmdag.sys"
Fix this Maxis/EA. I can't get a refund, I just want to enjoy your flipping game!!
