I have the exact same problem. I just bought the game today and every time I try to run the learning city it starts loading then about 20 seconds in my monitor turns off and I have to hard re-boot. I have yet to play the game for one minute.
I have a macbook pro and am using bootcamp to run windows xp. Any suggestions would be wonderful!
... Turning graphic settings on low doesn't do anything. It makes the game play longer, sure but it still crashes the computer. Why do people keep posting this? Jeez....
Also. I don't think you need the e-mail for the free game. If you can get the game open origin, click on the top left where it says origin, and there should be something saying "launch featured today" It is how I got my free game to come up. If not, well that sucks!
Noey, I can play as long as I want by turning the graphix sets down and tunrning off origin in game setting, I realized this last night.. No need to spit the dummy I was just trying to help the guy out.
