No news. No fix. Good luck getting money back. I got it from GameStop. Both GameStop and ea refuse to give me a refund.

I never heard of a game destroying hardware. If it is happening to another game, how long did it take to happen in that other game? Try more games and see if the same thing happens.

noeyjerd, I applaud you for keeping up with it. I've pretty much given up hope! But you keep on keepin on my firend! Good luck I'll be monitoring this thread frequently to see if it ever gets fixed!
