Simcity won't launch
I go onto origin, log on, click play on simcity wait for five minutes, nothing happens. I have windows 8, not 8.1. I have tried compying and pasting files from C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\...

Try setting your SimCity and Origin desktop icons to run in Windows 7 compatability mode and "as administrator".
(usually right click, select Properties)
You can also check out your install and update logs for more info
Open them with Wordpad and scroll to the bottom. Look for any WARNING or ERROR lines.
32 bit OS: ..\Program Files\..
64 bit OS: ..\Program Files (x86)\..
(install log)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\SimCity\_Installer\InstallLog.txt
(update log)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\SimCity\SimCityUserData\Patches\UpdateLog.txt
I changed the compatibility to run in Windows 8 to Windows 7 and it worked ! Thank you 🙂
