Last night I've experienced the same problem. I really hope there is a fix for this because i really don't want to was 65 dollars!
It's been almost a week since I bought the game, and still haven't gotten into it...even once!
Maybe the bigger error with the game is that THERE IS NO ERROR. I'd be more than willing ot accept the fact it could be some sort of conflict with my PC, but I have no error or anything to go by. I meet all the system requirements, and see no reason why this should happen. I disable all my firewalls and run GameBooster which shuts downs most unnecessary services. There are basically no other programs running when I've tried starting the game. I can't imagine it would be an app conflict.
