I uninstalled and reinstalled SC and hit play... this time I actually got a response. It said an older graphics driver was detected and to install a new one. I hit ok and now the sc screen is updating a large file. There is hope to be found yet. We will see if it decides to work.
Still tho. I got the game after the initial server issues, and there are still issues. I wish EA didnt own and ruin so many good games. Just disappointing.
tried it and failed still not able to play this game so bump.
Would be nice if a Maxis or EA employee gave a proper response instead of the usual thing like try to reinstall and this time use admin rights.
