SimCity won't start

you gotta be kidding me when i press play on my sim city game the screen goes black and somthing pops up saying sim city stopped working next time ea make a game that actually works
1. This isn't "EA" in here.
2. EA itself didn't develop SimCity 2013
3. Your post probably belongs in the "Crashes" sub-forum.
4. If ypu hope to interact with your fellow game players about technical matters, you'll need to start out offering a great deal more information.

If EA was offering any help whasoever, we would be on them like flies on honey. I've "only" been trying to make this game start for 2 days, not quite as long as the determined ones. So you might have the right idea, but it's going to be swept aside in the apocalyptic flood of hateposts and venting about why this game has so many issues.
So to summarize
1) Most people know this isn't EA, they are just trying to learn from each other.
2) EA didn't develop SimCity 2013, but it sure as hell is responsible for the majority of issues being had.
3) You might be right about the sub-forum location. As far as I know, there isn't a "EA screwed up sub-forum.
4) The majority of posters might be venting, but the minority are offering some of the best solutions I can find on the web. I was brought to this page specifically because I searched for "SimCity keeps trying to update". So before you reprimand the posters, offer some solutions of your own, not shots in the dark.
