I have a gateway ultra slim notebook laptop. I just installed Sim City (2013) I have ea pro plus or whatever, I can open and launch the game, but after i press the play button, it does it's thing and then freezes, but the music continues and the sound effects. I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, but to no avail it did not work.
It stoped on the maxis screen.

No I haven’t unfortunately and I was looking forward to playing it. It’s just another broken game. But it could be because of the technology. I can play the sims 3, busy not sims city though. I actually almost broke my laptop completely to fix it because of advice from ea.
Did you get a fix for this? How could I get support for this one. I'm also having that same issue and I really want to play :c
