Tosca Cliffs Ferry Issue

I second this bug.  Ferry is not able to be placed in a spot that is accessible to roads.  It places the road portion of the station under the ground and any road you attempt to connect are "too steep."  Since there is no railway, roads are the only way in and out of Tosca Cliffs.  

This is extremely annoying, I have owned the game all of four hours and this bug makes me never want to play again... I highly doubt there will be any compensation for this huge oversight.

Yes i too am having this problem.  Traffic on the highway is backed up all the way to the next city and either an airport or ferry is the only other ways to get out.  Not much room anymore for airport so it is really annoying then when trying every little road style to try and make a road coming out of the ferry terminal and still having no luck. I do hope with future patches they get around to this.  Might have to find a way to make an airport work in tosca...

Just wanted to add my own voice in that I've discovered this same issue.  Tosca has a lot of coast, but much of it is too close to the edge of the map to place a Ferry.  The portion that is, well, makes the road connection too far into the earth to connect any actual roads to... too steep.  If there is a place that it'll work, I've spent 100,000+ Simoleons and haven't found it yet.  Bug.

having this issue with laying the prots as well. Also can't add extra runways to airport do to elevation issues. This map in it's current form is unplayable.

I finally figured out how to get it placed, but it took like 100 different tries. Getting it to work properly was an accident, and cost a lot of money.

Screenshots please? This is really annoying...wasted tons of cash trying to place the ferry.

Whatever happened to the terrforming tools?

Found a partial solution.  First I put the ferry terminal down near the corner of the map, on the left of the shore looking inland.  I made roads along the long side of the terminal (going towards the water) right up against the terminal.  Then I demolished the terminal.  When I went to replace the terminal, the road next to it turned green.  

The road doesn't connect so sims won't drive to it and garbage and recycling builds up. However, I put a bus stop and a street car station next to the terminal and it's working ok.  Once the cruise ship terminal was added I started getting tourists.

I second this too... Lost a lot of $ trying and trying to connect the road before searching online and got here to find out that I'm not the only one...

Hope this will be fix soon...
