UAVAILABLE

Your network connection seems to be disconnected. Please check your Internet connection

You can either switch to single-player mode or quit.

I just installed a copy of Simcity Complete edition using a product code. I get this message every time I try to start the game. I am typing this on a fully functional internet connection. So, I click SINGLE-PLAYER to try and play. However, it just does the same thing all over again. It loads, then I get this message. It's really ticking me off. I can't even play the game because of this. Is there a fix?

  • I had that same problem. I found this on help.ea and it fixed the problem for me. Hope it helps.

If your download’s not working or your games won’t install, try these troubleshooting steps for PC or Mac games in the EA app.

    Clear cache

If you're having trouble downloading games, clear your cache using App Recovery to see if that fixes your issue.

    1. Launch the EA app on your PC or Mac.
    2. From the main menu bar, select Help and choose App Recovery.
    3. Select Clear Cache.
      • If you’re using a Mac, you might need to enter your password to give EALaunchHelper permission to clear cache. You’ll need to enter the password you use to log in to your Mac device, not your EA Account password.

  • Yes! 🙌 I got a little suprised that SimCity couldn't connect to the network, i tried removing the cache from %appdata% folder but it didn't help... We need EA to step in once again 😳

Hi @GamerBo0001 - did you set SimCity.exe and Origin.exe to "Run As Administrator" as suggested? Also, double-check that both are added to your antivirus and firewall settings.

If you're still having problems, please reply with the exact error message you are having and I will try to help you further. Happy Building!
