I spent all freakin' last night and this afternoon trying to get on a server (even the "available" ones told me to bugger off), and finally that I'm in, I can't even start a city?
Maybe the Main Menu IS the game. Maybe that's why there is no answer from EA: "It's working exactly as we intended. Why are so many people complaining?"

I've BEEN being an alcoholic. I am considering relapse. I work for DoD. If there is a terrorist attack, I blame EA.

Do people actually have no patience these days? it hasnt even been 24 hours and people are crying. Yes it sucks that u cant immediately play it but it will become playable once the servers are not getting bombarded with thousands of people trying to create a city at once.
Try shove 10 rolled up pieces of paper down a small pipe and thats the same thing we are getting, just relax and eventually the initial hit will relax and it will run smoothly.
Dont get me wrong i also would like to get playing but ill happily do other things to pass time.
Again, stop crying like you are a 12 year old having a tantrum.
Nah. I disagree. A product is released and its simply not working. Like getting a car but sorry, the engine doesnt work. We'll fix it in a week.
Sure sure, patience and all, but this isn't the first major game release that hasn't been ready for release. You'd think they would account for the additional bandwidth they'd be getting for this massive upstart game that can ONLY be played online.

This has nothing to do with patience. I just paid $60 for a product and it doesn't f-in work. And it's not like this wasn't preventable. For some reason, other game companies can handle launches fine for games that are far more popular than SimCity.
Also EA: If you can't handle a product launch, maybe you should finally dump Origin and go back on steam. At least they know what they're doing.
this is fricken ridiculous. why even release the **bleep**ing game if you cant even play it. EA your a joke the way you have been going with your games latley i hope you go broke. pathetic..

You'd think EA would learn from Actiblizzion's blunder w/ D3...
K, come on. Where are the answers. We have 20 pages of people complaining and threatening to return their game, but what we need is SOMEONE to just figure out the problem and give us a solution.

This is unacceptable, paying $80 and not being able to play the game!
