49$ and I can't play - Player Rolling by itself

I have my xbox controller hooked up, but my player keeps rolling forward by itself and when I open the map it sounds like there is other inputs being registered from a phantom device. I have disconne...

My controller does get recognized and I have been able to play some of the game, but when I get off my board I start rolling. Additionally, for the controls on screen, when I am not pressing a button, it reverts back to giving me dualshock controls, almost as if it thinks the phantom device is a PlayStation controller.
