Instead of "unstuck" it should be called "unfun" because that's exactly what it is. No reason for it in the game when you can literally respawn at your session marker or just open your map and fast travel if needed. just in the couple days since the update dropped I have had countless funny or cool moments that were cut short or ruined by the unstuck feature or just getting teleported super far back like you said. There is so many more glaring problems they could be working on like the broken party system that barely works half the time. The only reasoning I could see for someone adding this feature is for children who can't figure out how a controller works to reset their character manually, If that's the case they really are marketing this game for children.
