Tasks with friends
Can y'all stop giving out task/challenges that require friends and other skaters nearby? It's lame and uncalled for. I'd rather just do what I need to do alone when I play this. I don't have the time play with friends and i don't feel like making new ones. The northstar mission is good example. I shouldn't have to bug anyone just to get a mission objective done. Especially an objective with content roadblocked behind it.
Elbow/Knee Pad Customization
Just a random thought while playing I went back through the Legacy Pass and got the “knee pad” pants. I was curious if elbow and knee pads could be a separate clothing option that could also be used over pants or with shorts, I liked the helmet option and used the knee pad pants but then didn’t have a shirt “elbow pad” option. Sorry if this is structured badly but what I’m ultimately asking for is the elbow and knee pads as a seperate accessories option? It would add to customize all kinds of outfit possibility’s. Going to try and keep this short and sweet. Primo slides, primo stance, primo tricks. It could be like dark-catches are and maybe hold a button like RB and down? These would be awesome addition and I can imagine the sound fx you guys would add to it. :O Powerslide STYLEE. It would be cool to be able to touch the ground mid-powerslide and during powerslide reverts. This plus an emote is gonna be steezy. Pogo. It truly speaks for itself. FREESTYLE. First I was imagining a button to hold and then maybe directional input for alternate idling tricks. (walk the dog, shuffling, dancing, turning, aura farming fr.) Handplants need sumn' else. Maybe a directional way to rotate while mid-air, so you can come down in a different stance? That'd be tight, go up, handplant, rotate 180, go down fakie. Handstands. Seems ridiculous, but I seen my stepdad do this once so I know it's possible xD No Comply-Wallies. I know in certain scenarios (mad slow up curbs w auto curb pop) a no-comply can rarely act as a wallie and it looks freaking sweet. I'm imagining being in like a smith or feeble grind then doing the no comply input, and pulling the boaard down off the rail, and riding it along the side of the ledge instead, maybe back into the grind, or as an exit? Preferrably directional like wallies are. Manual-Wallies. I don't recal if this is a thing so if it is I apologize, but I don't remember ever trying a manual-wallie. It would be cool if there was a way to keep your Skateboard in hand while doing various parkour maneuvers. So you could go up a ramp, exit the board, land on the coping, jump and flip, then while the board is still in your hand, you caveman back down. Devs, Since Season 4 has dropped there has been an unwanted change that has happened regarding Hippy Jumps. Before Season 4 I was able to Hippy Jump and tap the "Kick" button (B) quickly and this would stop my character above the board, and my board would go out in front of me without me on it. I used to use this to send my board onto low rails off staircases, send the board up ramps alone and do a flip and get back on. I do a lot of crazy hippy jump parkour, as I like to call it, and Season 4 has taken literally HALF of my creativity away. This was becoming my SKATE. identity. I'm most known for my wall runs and getting back on the board but the hippy jump board send off a ledge onto a rail and then jumping on the board and grinding the rail was SO SICKKKKKKK. Please consider bringing this back it feels so dead without it. Now, THE ONLY WAY to even remotely stay behind the board instead of above it is to KICK and hold it, and hold backwards at the same time but it just looks terrible, is soooooo slow, and compared to the prior method it's not going to work for tricks or clips. I have spent hours and hours perfecting this technique and now it's just GONE :(
Pump and Dump needs tweaking
You guys seriously need to give a little more leeway on how we collect these speedline bearings. I 'm doing so much fast turning I can't even see the bearings half the time to figure out where it is. Not too mention getting thrown around or pulled into coping grinds that keeps me that one foot away from registering the collection.
Minor details to sort out and a few suggestions
As EA_Cuervo suggested in another thread, here are a few minor issues that could be fixed, along with some suggestions from me. First, regarding the EA forum, no matter how many times I choose an avatar, it always disappears, replaced by the default gray smiley face… In the game, even though I disable my character's voice, it's always active every time I launch the game. Finally, as a suggestion, I'd like the ability to position/resize stickers on the board and also use them on clothing, as well as the ability to wear a cap upside down or right side up, features that were present in previous skate games. Maybe being able to put 2 (or more) tattoos on the same body part. Alternatively, in the same vein, I could suggest band t-shirts (from bands featured in the game or not). I'm thinking specifically of the Slayer t-shirt that was available in Skate 2 (or 3, I can't remember; I recreated it, as well as other metal bands, using the editor and the sadly defunct sharing site "SkateFluckIt"). also release t-shirts from other metal bands (I have too many examples to list them all here). Flatland gravity is alright, but popping off any kind of ramp or wedge is incredibly floaty, even with pop set to zero. It tuins the experience of setting up a kicker to ledge ect. as it's unbelievably unrealistic and just feels and looks completely wrong. Pushing could do with a slowdown option also. This would be a massive improvement and open up the map.Camera settings
I do not like the low camera setting. Fast traveling resets my high camera setting to low (sometimes is randomly does it while I am skating around) and I am constantly having to open settings and change it back to high view. If I’m not in a good mood it’s enough to turn off the game lol which is what brought me here. Please fix!
