Can you stop with the magic hair cut?

One thing that drives me nuts in games of all types with character creators is when you put headgear or certain headgear on and suddenly they have a buzz cut. I didn't pick long hair just so it can all disappear when a helmet is put on, so it would be nice to see that changed. I'd like to add a skate helmet but i
