Cant select controller setting at the begining

Am I the only one who hasn't been able to play skate ? I start the game on my pc ( specs are fine, I run assetto corsa, COD etc. without lags ) and there are the two options for the controller settings. There I can't select anything. I restarted the game multiple times and also repaired it ( shown as option in the EA App ). Nothing has worked so far and I'm getting concened, that this problem will be there, no matter what.
