Tix change for season 3, worst thing skate has done since the game release.
I’ve spent every single day grinding this game getting as many tix as possible as I want to build them up incase I go away, but from the new skate change I see no point in loading the game up after completing the skate.pass. and the said no game carries over currency from season to season, which is a lie, every game carries currency over from season to season, the difference with skate is that they have SVB and Tix, most games would only have 1 of those not both. This change has made me want to stop playing this game, the hours I put in is pointless.
I didnt get the item in battlepass because I didnt want it!!!
Does it legit not make sense to you guys that we didnt get all items in the battlepasses because we didnt want the e-waste?? I would go through the battle pass and only grab what I would actually use because im already forced to get crop tops, tu-tu's and dresses baked into progression just to get to the 1 out of 5 shirts I actually use!!!! Edit - At least make the Tix converted to a 1-1 for SVB, so the next seasom we can re-buy our tix back with the tix we grinded. Or, or just don't do this change at all. I am gonna make this abundantly clear and slightly short n' simple. I am gonna try to be calm and respectful. This change, should NOT go through. I have done every Tix challenge since release, and even gathered randoms and a friend EVERY WEEK for the OTL challenges the devs so strongly incentivised to be done with others, because they HATE solo players. I have OVERGRINDED the amount of Tix and even purchased some Tix prior to finishing the skate.pass, because of the PRIOR changes mentioned about TIX NOT FULLY being carried over season to season. Now... With the new changes announced, now I find out I WASTED ALL MY TIME AND SOME MONEY ON TIX THAT WON'T AT ALL BE CARRIED OVER?! WHAT?! WHY?! Who and What is making these decisions man? I LOVE this game and have TRIED my BEST to get people into it, because I LOVE skateboarding and I love skate. These changes man... As if the SVB greed wasn't enough, now we have 0 incentive to play anymore because Tix will go to waste. Please.. DO NOT go through with this change. I also still haven't gotten my 600 Tix refunded from the bug from the start of Season 2... in the photos attached to this forum post is my CURRENT Tix and such for proof. I am gonna be absolutely LIVID beyond belief if they all are going to waste. as a side note, YES I have also gotten ALL DIY and all boxes opened too. I only grind the Tix challenges because I have reached MAX everywhere else and got bored of grinding ripchips everyday. I login, do the dailies; get the free stuff from the store until tomorrow's challenges refresh, and then the weeklies an then monthlies reset. Rinse and Repeat.. Do ya'll devs hate us consistent players???Tix change, Skate doesn’t care about the community.
To make the Tix situation worse my friend is ill in hospital as he has a eating disorder and since he earned up to 8k tix he didn’t worry about the following season missing a couple weeks to month and now with them disappearing he’s going to have to spend his money which he won’t be able to afford as he’s had to have time away from work, this is disappointing from skate.
Challenges in market mile
I cant even begin with the amount of issues in so many different areas in market mile. It has so far been my least favorite area to do challenges and its a shame cuz market mile really has so much potential. But alas I wont get into all that, today im gonna simply point out the vast lack of challenges for area progress in market mile. Legitimately the ratio for tix challenges to daily rotating market mile progress missions is 17/7. That is absolutely unacceptable, especially for those trying to max level each area. I really think so much on this game needs to be worked on but it feels like EA is no longer interested on working on this game as much cuz of a dwindling player base compared to launch. I love the skate franchise and would love to see it perfected with this installation of the game series. Please hear the players complaints and suggestions and I promise EA you WILL see that player count go up. Sincerely - a long life fan of SkateI lost 1h of quest progress
I was playing skate doing my quests but for some reason the quests werent completing. they were accumulating so for example in the grind 100m quest, it said 5/1. I proceeded to notice this so I restarted my game and on entering I realised that all my quest progress had been reset to that of which it was 1h before.
Unintentional purchase due to a bug
I was trying to get my awards from the skate pass but something weird happened, i tried to redeem the 75sv from the skate pass but somehow i purchased some wheels from the shop? please fix this because i was saving for the next skate pass, and give me back my 200sv!!
