I had the same issue. I had to exit the game and repair it through the EA app. It worked after that. Also since there is no page on the EA app for skate you have to select it through the library.
I have waited for almost a day and it still doesnt work.
I tried that as well and it didn't work. Maybe the servers are back up?
Anyone else cant press start on the start up screen?
