Kinda hard to test your game with a controller if half of the controllers don't function without banned 3rd party software. The only way to play most EA games with a playstation controller on PC is using DS4Windows. Either implement native DS4/5 support or remove this software from your anti cheat flags. Fairly frustrating, especially for a controller oriented game.
This is ridiculous. I use DS4 Windows for other games that do not support the ps4/5 controller natively, and I add games that do support them natively to the exclusion list so I have it running all the time so I can swap between my ROG Ally's built in controller and a Dualsense when I "dock" my ROG ally on my tv. Blocking DS4 Windows is dumb, it's not a cheat device, forcing me to close it every time I want to play Skate is a nuisance.
I agree. What I think will need to happen here is literally thousands of players absolutely FLOODING their forums with demands for PS4/5 controller support via 3rd-party Xinput apps.
This game supports only a controller, it said. I bought a controller. To be able to run on Windows, I need a program like DS4Windows. Now it does not let me open the program because it detects it as a cheat. Great, what am I supposed to do now? What is the point of adding PC support if you won't let us play?

I think it should be standard in 2025 to not have to plug in your controller - except you have to load it!
DualSense controller works natively plugged in through usb-c
DS4 does not work wireless native in that game! i think in 2025 you dont need to have your controller plugged to usb. Btw if your controller is not recognized you need plug your controller in and unplug your keyboard to get this working - The game getting worse and so does the possbile inputs
does it support any controller other than DS4? i have a few controllers i want to test out for the laughs like an N64 controller.
I have found the software reWASD. It works for me without getting blocked by the Anti Cheat program. Don't be irritated with them wanting you to buy it you can download it for free.
