Feedback (and please in the future make Skate 4)
I've played Skate 3 for years and still I find it awesome.
After playing this newest iteration of Skate for months, I understand now this is not Skate 4. In comparison to Skate 3, this game falls short in so many ways: It is boring, it takes no skill to do any trick, there is little incentive to keep playing, and while Sanvan is big and the verticality is kinda fun, the angles for skating generally feel wrong. Rails, benches, etc. are often too conveniently placed while at other times there is not room enough to maneouver. In Skate 3 whenever I cruised around, I just had to stop and try a trick. and I would lose hours just trying to stick kickflip tailslide kickflip out on a specific ledge. Here I do not feel this.
When I read some interviews by the developer, it is clear that this Skate has to be more of a sandbox like Fortnite where you get together and hang with your friends (and spend). So I will stop comparing it to Skate 3, because these are different games. And if that is so, I am no longer interested in this new Skate. Which saddens me, because I now understand that I really want Skate 4 with new pros, a career mode, Trasher photos , 1-ups and own the spot/lot, death races and skill-based flicking.
That said, I wish the developers all the succes they need in creating the game they want. I do hope it's succesfull. And if enough revenue rolls in, maybe someone will make Skate 4!
