Hi all
I started playing today (ps5) and paused during part of the tutorial for some dinner
And after about 5 minutes a black screen showed with the loading screen and it has been like that for half hour.
I restarted the game and thought let me try again, pressed the pause button and 5 minutes went by and it did exactly the same thing,
Is this a bug? Or is there like a time limit for how long you can be paused for??
This is currently happening to me. Did you ever find a way to fix it?

I think it has something to do with the ea account is linked to your psn account. I honestly think there’s no way to fix it at this point. I feel like I tried everything.
Changing DNS server worked for me.. idk how to do that on console. buts def a network issue
Been 3 months and this issue is still persisting.
Can’t be, when I loaded into the game it crashed on the tutorial, lowered my graphics and I have a pretty good system. Other people are having the same issue as well.
Found that for ps5, you need to download the PS4 version of the game. Then pass the tutorial with it and then when you arrive in San Van you can switch to the ps5 version. Also I deactivated the crossplay before trying what I said but it didn't work and left it like that. Maybe it helped. Hope that will help...
