Well said about it feeling like a corporate HR training vid. I do like the gameplay a lot and I might be one of the few that seems to enjoy the art style, but the game absolutely suffers from a lack of character. What little we have comes in the form of an actor playing a robot and a couple skaters with a tired affect. The city seems to have a little with the graffiti and the stuff like the crashed car and growling sewer monster but we're left to piece these things together ourselves or just guess what's going on. I don't necessarily need pro skaters or cutscenes or anything, but the missions could do a lot more for us than "ride here and just simply do what could've been a challenge."
