Skate TeamI genuinely hate that I'm about to be so negative about something in this game because I love it so much - but this is literally the total polar opposite of what I play this game for. The skill expression is minimal because "Manual + Do every flip trick in the game while holding it" is literally so easy any new player can do it in an hour. It incentivises all of the most frustrating behaviours you see in the game.
I play this game for a mostly cooperative experience, focusing on creativity, skill expression or classic hard-headed human perseverance.
I totally get why this was made, there's a ton of people pestering the devs for PvP modes, but the vibes are totally off here. The meetups should just be purely optional player collaboration areas, maybe you just pull up to watch what people get up to, maybe you hunt for clips that have lots of people in... you know, just to get people moving about the city and trying out new things. I've found competition doesn't bring out the best in people and it definitely didn't bring out the best in me when I was playing it.
Like I said, I hate to have such negative feedback because it's a cool idea and a lot of work has probably gone into it, but I gotta keep it 100 and hope that these words aren't taken the wrong way 😓
