Need help with Skate Playtesting error code. Again…..
Received the error code at first when latest opened up. Wasn’t able to play, then was allowed. Unfortunately, back here again. Need help to get back in the streets!!!

Hey JediJDSB, I’ve seen that Skate playtest error pop up a few times—here’s a quick checklist that’s helped me get back online:
Verify Game Files
In Origin/EA App, right-click Skate > Repair Game. This will re-download any corrupted files.
Clear Cache & Temp Data
On Windows, press Win+R, type %ProgramData%/Origin (or %AppData%/EA App), and delete the “Cache” folders.
Run as Administrator
Right-click the EA App (or Origin) shortcut and choose “Run as administrator” before launching the playtest.
Update Your Drivers
Make sure your GPU drivers are fully up to date—NVIDIA GeForce Experience or AMD Radeon Software can auto-install the latest.
Temporarily Disable Overlays/Background Apps
Turn off Discord, Steam, or Xbox Game Bar overlays—they can sometimes conflict with EA’s playtest environment.
Check Your EA Account
Log out and back in, or even switch regions in EA App settings if the test is region-locked.
If none of that works, a full reinstall of the EA App (or Origin) often clears up lingering issues. And of course, you can always raise a ticket with EA Support.
