Nosebleed Grind

I have played the Skate franchise since Skate 1. Have never felt inclined to contact EA regarding their game in any way. Nosebleed Grind is hands down the worst challenge they have ever made. It's worse than Can You Spell GIRL. The physics engine cannot handle grinding at this speed and the ramp at the end is broken because it is close to the rail you need to gap so it sucks you into it making you fail it on the last bearing. A challenge that takes upward of a minute to complete each time. Please consider adjusting this challenge. I'm sure there was a lot of negativity around challenges being too easy but Nosebleed Grind is unfair not difficult. God forbid you play on custom sliders as I imagine there is no way to complete this on more realistic settings.

Yeah this challenge is **bleep**. I've completed 3 times at like 47 seconds because you HAVE to slow down somehow (power sliding etc.) on the way back down for the last 3 bearings or you are WAYYYYY to fast to get off the rail on the way down and also being able to get the next bearing. Clearly no one tested this challenge that is actually on the team; 45 seconds is all that makes it impossible, get rid of the time limit and its totally doable (they should add a score goal instead)

I'm playing on grind assist 10 out of 100 and while I did get frustrated, I think the challenge itself is fairly consistent. The biggest issue for me was the rail transfer, which I think isn't exactly clear enough on what it wants the player to do and that can be improved by making the objective area a little wider most likely.

Guys, want to go over a rail, you can hold the left-stick forward when you ollie (without grabbing) to disengage the game's air-to-grind adjustments. I'm not trying to gaslight and say it's not a very hard challenge, I failed many, many times, but we have to be careful what feedback is actually given.

  • I really hope this is not one of the challenges they plan on resetting during the season and making us do again. At least without tweaking it. I finally got it. I had much more luck pushing for as long as I could gaining speed and griding the right side. Tweaking the grind when getting to the transfer is usually enough to get credit for it. With this setup, I could reliably try to get to the bottom to try and get the last 3 bearings.

  • I like difficult challenges, but this is less about skill and more about luck :\

  • I would be ok with it if they added more time to get all the bearings so you can slow down at least to get off the grind. The ramp at the bottom just gets in the way of you leaving the grind fast.  There needs to be way more testing when it comes to challanges and seasons over all. I still say this game was half baked when it came out of beta.

The rail transfer at the spot doesn't register every time, either. These Brickswich challenges haven't been fun at ALL.

Absolutely impossible challenge the physics make no sense

  • Yeah this one is so frustrating. Still have not gotten it. Nor sure how we are supposed to drop down the the ground at the end with all the speed. But I rarely make it that far...
