Why are the challenges back to giving only five rip chips per objective? When it was changed to 20 per, it made the smaller challenges actually worth it. I finished all the winter roll-stice challenges and then my game froze. When I came back in my “roll-stice 1” challenges were at 0/12 completed but all the missions are checked off so I can’t just redo everything and get the 12 challenge goals. Anyone else have this problem?Rip currency
Why are we collecting rip points for absolutely nothing I have completely gotten everything from all boxes in each community I did this in season 1 and have been waiting in hopes for two months in hopes that season 2 would have more rewarding for the RIP currency but as usual EA is only out to make them selves $$$ like I refuse to put anymore money into this companies games as all they ever do is put out broken games every year I can't even say that they are actual game more like they put out beta's and expect us to pay for all this crappy stuff like get it together and stop ripping us off.Stop locking challenges behind being in a party
I don’t have any friends that play this game. I don’t want to invite random people to my party to complete challenges in this game. It’s a little ridiculous we are punished for wanting to play by ourselves and not deal with the burden of waiting on random people to join your party and experiencing the bugs that come with it. Update info : 2025-12-18 (For my fellow americans ISO 8601) Currently reviewing 0.29.5 challenges. Preamble So the goal here is to list every challenges so far (the static ones and the ones in rotation. The mission challenges aren't displayed here) and point out if there is an issue with it. The advantage is to list everything in one post and communicate on every challenge to seek help if needed. If there is workaround on bugged mission, a link will be provided into the arrays. Note : Review on 0.29.5 on the way. Don't be shy, I stated some challenge as "No issue" but i'm sure there is some. I reaplayed almost every challenge listed and so far I'm fine with what I wrote. If you do not agree, please share your feelings. Feel free to leave an upvote, so it can benefit more people. Issue type First thing first, I will explain below what I meant in the "Issue type" column as it cannot be fully understandable : Grind issue : It implies that the rail or grindable surface is bugged or the physics do not behave as intended. Some rail have the bad habits to make turn your character on itself and miss your line/trick. Boundary(ies) : It means that on the current challenge, when you do your tricks correctfully, the challenge doesn't validate the trick(s)/objective(s). But it does if you are in the said boundaries (aka the yellow-orange-ish area). Challenge design : The challenge works but some objective are way too long or miscalculated. Or the challenge tell you to perform some tricks but validates it only in certain order. Skill issue : The community has to be better. The challenge is not that hard. Hippy jump : Hippy jump is either bugged because it cannot pass under the obstacle or bugged due to boundary issue. Physics issue : Pretty straightforward, the physics is incoherent with how it should behave For other type, they are mostly self-explainatory. So far since early access, the challenges have been a perfect balance. Most i can do in a few attempts and a select few take maybe 10-20 minutes of trying. Which is the perfect balance. But this new update is just frustrating more than it is fun. Firstly, the market mile community park / challenges... I can't even get to the line challenge thats positioned below the park itself. I want to play a skate game, not some elaborate parkour map which leads to me stuck in the water 10 times. So I tried the other challenge at market mile... and it just makes no sense? You can't visulise the route because the arrows and ramps are all over the place. I've got a degree in design, so UI and visual guidance is something I'm very good at understanding. But I'm having a hard time with it, so i'd hate to know how some of the other players are experiencing it. So then I tried the regular season trix challenges. and they seem to have turned up the difficulty 10-fold. It's way above the balance of challenging but fun. It's just frustrating and unenjoyable. Some of them are slightly easier, but the game still has this bug of registering tricks. I landed the "flip trick to grind to flip trick" probably 8 times but the game only registered 4. Meaning i failed the challenge... However, I wouldn't have failed if it didn't have a short time limit of 3 minutes. I wouldn't call myself insanely skilled (i have no desire doing across the map lines etc) but I would say i'm average/above. So challenges shouldn't feel like this. Like i said in the beginning, it should be a balance between some easy, some taking a few attempts and maybe the odd one taking 10-20 minutes. What makes this even worse, is the rewards from challenges are minimal, and have been nerfed. If you're going to reduce rewards, the difficulity should be reduced too. Not increased. Otherwise there is no sense of reward / progress. An hour of challenge gameplay should produce decent unlocks, not pocket change in currency. And as a solo player... I have absolutely no desire to find a party for the "in a party" and own the lot challenges. It wouldn't be so bad if you could matchmake and have the game find a party / session for you. But i'm losing out on seasonal rewards because my play-style is being punished. I understand the devs probably get a list of what to do from the publishers, but boy the publishers really are good at pushing players away from potentially brilliant games. TLDR Design parks / challenges better. The standard has dropped big-time. No time limits. PLEASE Think about difficulty. The game needs to be challenging but fun. Not frustrating with no fun. No "in a party" or "own the lot" style gamemodes PLEASE.
