Please add back OTL and challenges from previous Seasons.
It's been more than 2 weeks straight that we dont have a OTL and TIX challenges at the Isle of Grom. I know this Season's focus is the San Van Stadium but having to do the same small handful of challenges and same OTL spots with very low output of currency earned for 3 months might definitely make other players's mind go crazily numb including myself. So please add back those challenges from Season 1 - 3 (where they fit into the Season's layout) so that we can claimed those rewards in the skate. pass faster before the Season 4 ends.
More reasons to keep playing — customization, events, day/night cycle and more
I really like skate., but I feel like the game is missing a lot of things that could keep players engaged for a much longer time. Right now, after completing most of the available content, there isn’t really much left to do. The daily challenges become repetitive pretty quickly. Of course, just cruising around the city and doing tricks is fun, but eventually you want more reasons to actually play. I’d love to see more variety in activities and events. More limited-time events, community challenges, competitions, random events around the city — basically anything that gives players a reason to come back and actually interact with each other. Right now, a couple of days after seasonal content drops, it feels like there isn’t much happening anymore. But honestly, my biggest issue is character customization. There just aren’t enough clothes and customization options. A lot of the clothing feels like the same items with different colors or prints. I’d really love to see way more variety in shirts, pants, jackets, shoes, accessories, etc. I also really want more ways to make my skater look unique. More hairstyles, more tattoos, and especially the ability to have multiple tattoos on the same body part would be great. I want to see another player’s character and immediately know that they have their own style. A proper day/night cycle would also be amazing. Imagine skating through the city at night, under street lights, with a completely different atmosphere. I think it would make the world feel much more alive. Another small thing I’d love to see is visible wear and tear. It would be cool if your character got some scratches, bruises or dirt after taking hard falls. And what about the skateboard? After doing hundreds of tricks, the deck could become scratched and worn out. Maybe there could even be an option to intentionally customize your board to look damaged, or eventually break it and replace it. And finally, I feel like some of the currencies need more purpose. There are areas where you can spend coins on cosmetic items, but once you’ve unlocked most of that stuff, there isn’t really much left to spend them on. The same goes for blue tokens — there aren’t many ways to earn or use them. I really love the core gameplay of skate., and that’s exactly why I want more reasons to keep playing it. For me, the biggest thing is customization. I want my skater to actually feel like my skater, not just another character wearing one of a few clothing items with a different color. I hope the team keeps expanding these systems. I think more customization, more events and more things to do would make a huge difference for the game’s long-term replayability.Cant fully complete X-Games challenges
There are a few missions where obvious tricks dont register. For example the philly vert challenge where you do a grind stall to kickflip or the flipflip to front air. Spent so much time retrying those over and over, definitely doing the trick. Also the bs bluntslide x 5 challenge. Have done a ton of bluntslides and not 1 has counted to that. I understand the modes are still experimental, but the control settings really need to be unified. Battles are fun when players compete purely on skill. When different control settings can drastically change scores, the competition loses its meaning. For battles, every player should be forced to use the same settings. I play on the hardest possible settings. Facing someone on Easy is not fair — and Easy even enables glitch techniques that shouldn’t exist in a competitive environment. Please lock the settings to the most difficult options for all battles (for example: Min Pop = 0, Hard Pump Assist = 0, etc.). This would make battles fair and skill-based, and it would also push everyone’s overall level higher. I’ve mainly played Spot Battles since the original *Skate*. Versions 1 and 2 were good in this regard. In *Skate 3* the split into Easy / Normal / Hard made competitive play much worse. Please don’t repeat that mistake — give us fair, skill-focused battles this time. Thank you.Challenges as a solo skater
This weeks challenges are just "**bleep** you for playing alone " it seems? I have no intentions of partying up or doing OTL, so i guess ill just have to deal with not doing most of the challenges because youve decided that im a loser? What a pain in the **bleep** that probably doesnt affect that many people, but its still really annoying👍
