yeah and especially so you dont get kicked if the internet drops for a second, or the server has an issue. even if the challenges were disabled thats fine, just let me keep skating the map.
the only issue is that they may have designed the game around being server side like DayZ, so there might be performance issues if the client had to handle everything (I'm not 100 percent sure this is the case, but its likely since it was designed as a multiplayer game from the ground up)
