pay wall on the first map expansion?

I already found the concept of calling this "Early Access" while also doing seasons an insane concept. Now you are going to add a new map and restrict it to people willing to pay for a skate pass no one really cares about.

Have the Devs completely lost it? The player base is gone and not coming back for paid cosmetics and a reworked tutorial island. Just pack it up, fire the Devs, and move on already if you are gonna stick to this horrible rendition of skate instead of making a game players want.
