I’m getting a bit annoyed about people on this forum complaining about not being able to access the playtest.
The playtest will be available at 2:00 PST (pacific standard time)
The system they have implemented may be bad for tracking local times, which is likely the cause of confusion, but some of the posts here are way too critical on EA, and you guys should be glad you are even allowed to play the game early.

Agreed give it time. It’s 2pm pst or 5est. I know we all pumped so let’s make it a great one!
I can understand the confusion and eagerness to play but please be thankful for even getting in the playtest. A lot of people have to wait until Early Access.
No probably not till the update is complete give it about 4 hours. Patience is key.
Well it would help if they included what timezone they were talking about. Just saying "2pm" makes me think that they mean my local timezone...
EDIT: Change your timezone under settings on the playtest page. This will show the correct time for release.
How do you know that it's Pacific Time and not Eastern Time? this info is not available.

I adjusted my time zone on my profile on the playtesting profile. That might clear some things up for folks if you do that :)
This worked for me too... Weird how the browser time isn't correct...
