Please help

Hello, yesterday I downloaded the game Skate and was doing the tutorial. On the last task I had to select the marker with a button, but the game does not detect this button, even though it works fine in other games. I reset my Xbox but the issue is still there. Please help, because I am a Skate 3 player and I really want to play the new version, but it doesn’t work.
