Just got the Skate. alpha downloaded on my PS4 and am getting the same time out error as everybody else. I'm sure that's due to server issues.
My question is this, once servers are good again, do I have to have a PSN Plus subscription to be able to play the alpha?

Honestly it shouldn’t. Free To Play games don’t require PSN. Even to play the alpha. I didn’t see anything about it.
It does not require a subscription
