Made it all the way through character creation, scale the wall, setup on the mega ramp, crash. Game locks up but doesn't exit, have to kill it via task manager.

Consistent issue, has happened 3 times in a row, totally unplayable.
Graphics drivers up to date, tried launching in windowed mode and as admin from local directory
Mine is doing the literal exact same thing on a nvidia card. Really want to play this game but it's literally crashing as soon as im teleported to the mega ramp
New player, same scenario. Finish character creation, scale the wall. Crashes during the board intro. If I Skip All, I can see the mega ramp, hangs briefly, then crashes. Windows flashed a "Critical Low Memory Error: Failed to allocate memory. Your PC might be in a low memory situation. Please restart your PC and try again." error. (I'm using Windows 10). Restarted and ran nothing else but Steam and Skate and the same thing happened.
I’m having the exact same issue, I even installed the game on my ps5 and the same issue persists

This isn't a computer related issue. My friend is having the same problem. So he came over my house and logged in on my computer and it still happened. I can play on my account just fine. You know what's never bugged? The store. The greed and stupidity of the skate team is something else. I have never seen a launch this horrible and then ask for $5 for an unbranded backwards hat.
Same here. I exceed the minimum requirements by a long shot, neither my cpu, gpu, nor ram go above 70% usage. Im running the lowest setting possible on 1080p 60, thought maybe being on 1440p 144 was causing the crashing. Every time that **bleep** ramp shows up on my screen, the game freezes and I get a nice little popup. Hopefully EA dials in and fixes wtv the problem is
same here, ended up uninstalling bc it won’t let me past the tutorial. whats the point in playing a game that won’t let you play it 🤷
POTENTIAL SOLUTION: Someone on steam said to turn off crossplay and it worked for me and them. Give it a try. You will have to load in My screen was pure white then i adjusted the settings and when i restarted it, everything worked
