Screen goes black until I tab in.
With the new update, I created a character and then when it was loaded to the tutorial the screen went black. I alt+tab out and the game is still running but when I alt+tab back into the game, it run...

i did two things that made my game work
1) uninstalled skate and ea app
1.5) reinstalled ea app and skate
2) hit the 3 dots for skate went into properties on the app and in advanced launch options enter " -w " this makes the game launch in windowed mode which it did which might fix your black screening because fullscreen is actually horrible default launch settings
