stuck in skate play test loading screen

hey for the people on console primarily PS5 when i tried to load my game i got to the point where i hit the “start” button but after that im stuck in the loading screen with a “configuring” loading circle in the bottom right of my screen. is anyone else experiencing this or know how to get around it it’s been about 30 minutes now of this.
