Stuck on Tour 1: Skater eyes.

I'm on step 6: getting primitive 

I successfully caveman down the slide and it crosses it out and then in a few moments it repeats itself and says I have to do the trick midair even though I just successfully completed the mission. I've tried leaving the mission and restarting and nothing fixes the issue and I'm stuck not being able to go onto the next mission.
