The gift of grab mission

The mission asks for a modified grab a no foot grab and a one foot grab I did all three and the mission ended but its says I haven't done the one foot grab and when I try to return to the mission is just is a marker in the middle of the ocean therefore I cannot complete so I can't progress I've tried all I can think of my only option I feel is left is to restart the game entirely meaning I would have to start right from the tutorial which is a last resort , anyone's else had the same and/or know how to fix it?
