No they didn't, don't spread misinformation like a **bleep**. They shut down the server cuz everyone kept breaking the nda so they got pissed off and shut the DISCORD server down not the playtest. They would rather remove a server full of people asking for help rather than fixing the problem like they always have in every other game even released ones.
the way they run the discord is kind of bananas, i got muted for a week because i made a joke about bribing EA for even earlier access instead of Early Access...
