Then I don't get your point. You always have to gain some sort of XP in a pass, no matter what game?
Example: you can't buy leather jacket on page 3 untill you brought sticker, grip, animation and all other items on page 3. It's not a question of "earn" XP, it's force you to spend that XP (TiX in that case) on stuff that you don't want
