I tried unlinking my own account from an old email to my new one but my account is linked to email from 13+ years ago that I don’t even use anymore. Kind of stupid it can only linked to one email in its lifetime

Yep same thing here, really silly and unfortunate
As a warning - if you’re unable to unlink from EA right now, you’re screwed. I got to a point where the email needed a password reset and the email was old. This was after deleting EA App data from two linked Xbox accounts through Microsoft.
Spent over an hour providing documentation that I was the owner of this EA account to support and the email was “switched.” As of mid-February they are not unlinking for you anymore, so I now have control over the EA account (with a working email) but two accounts I can’t unlink and am in the same spot.
Same. Spent an hour with support making sure the email I used to sign up and where I received my code for PSN was the same email for my linked PSN account. Got it all worked out and now I can’t even access the private playtest forum. I got to play it a few times last year during other tests. As a skate vet since the first one (Platinums on 1-3 with probably 4000+ hours combined) I was super stoked to see how it was coming along and providing input. Now… now I wanna cruise by elementary schools shouting “SANTA CLAUS IS YOUR PARENTS!!!!”
EA is a pathetic conglomerate, and a dying star at that. I hope the public bring a class action against these greedy idiots.
