This issue with Online Features for Skate 2 should now be resolved.

Skate 2 then and from what I can see, according to your messages, you are all playing on Xbox 360 Platform, PS3 Players don't seem to be affected so far or maybe it's just a coincidence.

I will know more soon and hopefully we will get some more information to provide you with, the Team is still working on it.
