AAT Siege Mode doesn't work with original keybinding

Summarize your bug After activating Siege Mode on the AAT, the tank's turret will not 'become usable'. The tank will simply get low to the ground and disable aim of the primary weapon (though I can still fire the primary weapon). The ability seems to behave as if it is active and Siege Mode can be deactivated to return to normal operation without an issue.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I have top ability mapped to the '2' key. This bug has occurred for me since release the release version went live for early access, but did not occur on the public beta. I was able to 'correctly use' the Siege Mode ability during the beta. 'Repairing install' via origin did not remediate. Full reinstall did not remediate.

What do you expect to see? I expect the turret to become free to use while the tank becomes immobile.

    Hello everyone! 

    As you might have seen, this thread is a mess now. I've combined in total 4-5 threads into this one, as people all describe this bug differently and create new posts.

    It seems that a lot of players are experiencing this issue and have problems with the 2nd ability of tanks, including myself. It has been 1.5 years, maybe a good time for the devs now to look into this and patch it @EA_Ataashi

    So after years of reports the issue STILL exists. I would be embarrassed at this point if I were EA.... I would suggest they ask for community assistance since apparently EA cannot deal with a little bug themselves.

    You're right, this is Yet Again Another Day 1 BUG Never Solved.

    The only way to properly use the AAT's (and TX-130's) Upper Ability on PC is to not set its key binding to the key '2'. I use 'R' and it works (despite 'R' being hardcoded for Weapon Recharge, so whenever that's available and I press the button, both my middle ability and weapon recharge trigger at the same time. Tanks don't have weapon recharge functionality, so it doesn't affect them).

    And I agree with you they must remodel their business, but until we stop giving them money, they'll never do that. I didn't buy Jedi Fallen Order nor Squadrons, 2 games I would buy if it wasn't for the mishandling of Battlefront II by EA (and all the other mess on other games/projects I've came to know about due to the mishandling of SWBFII). The rest of EA's library doesn't interest me, and after what transpired here, they became even less interesting to me.
