Advanced Tweaking and Thermal Issues
Hey everyone, I'm in the honeymoon phase with this game right now and am looking for ways to improve my gameplay. I've done some tweaking to get the game to run it's best and am trying to iron out the last couple issues I'm facing. Here's my rig:
- Intel 10750H in a Predator Helios 300 (2020 Model)
- Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 (Adaptive Overlcocking - Max of 2100mhz)
- External Scepter 185hz Monitor (DVI)
- 16 Gigs of RAM
- Killer Control Center for maximum bandwidth
- Gamefast to kill stubborn Windows Processes
- Custom Windows ISO built for gaming
- Intel XTU to Cap Turbo Boost time to 5 seconds at 69W maximum
- Base Nvidia Drivers ONLY - No Telemetry Heavy GeForce Programs
With this setup I can max all settings except resolution scaling which I run at the standard 100%, as the game becomes quickly unplayable beyond that.
I'm looking to improve stability and thermal output, in addition to any other tips for improved performance. My average temperature during gameplay is about 80C+ with the occasional breakthrough to 90C for up to 5 seconds. I also get random crashes to desktop - usually a second or two after a Hero spawn and almost always when jumping.
