All game progress lost

I just booted up Battlefront 2 for the first time on my Xbox in about 2 years and my levels are the same as they were but I have no star cards, weapon unlocks, challenge progress. Everything is reset. I ran a match just so see if it would update and it's still the same. I've tried unlinking and relinking my account like some posts suggest multiple times and that didn't fix it. What are my options here? I put a huge chunk of time into this game and this is very upsetting losing it all...

    2026 on xbox, just lost all my progress, first everything went but I had my levels, then j opened up the game and everything was reset

    Thanks for letting us know what you're running into with SW Battlefront 2. 

    If you are currently seeing your progress missing or reset please let us know in our current thread here. 

    Please also let us know the following;

     

    • Platform (or client):
    • EA ID (PSN ID/Gamertag):
    • Are you getting an error message?
    • If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip...
    • If on PC, please share a DxDiag file and an EA app Error ID Number

    Moving accounts from one account to another will nuke any progression for all of our games. @erectjesus

    @Goochensteinburg Just had this happen to me. All because skate 3 bricked for a couple days I thought re linking my EA would fix it. Rip my account and all of my gold hero’s and villains as well as my level 200 officer. If I play the characters at all their levels go back to 1 so I guess it’s good bye bf2. It was fun while EA actually gave a * I guess :’(

    Only thing that stored on player side is what card you are using, cosmetic use and action wheel (emotes/voice), everything else is on our side. @DarthFDG

    To clarify - OP says levels are there. Star cards, etc. are mucked up. That stuff is local from my experience.

    Progress is stored on our servers, unlinking and relinking can remove your progression for ever. Did you ever move the link? @Goochensteinburg

    When this happened to me on PC, I learned that this information is stored locally and somehow mine became corrupt. However, I still had access to the star cards, etc. - i.e. I just had to reassign them to the characters.

    Are you saying all the star cards are locked?
