No, that’s not what I mean. I don’t expect that they’re “less good”. I’m looking at characteristics of interactivity i.e. amount of dodge per second, dodge recovery, ability trigger priority, ability nullfileld, etc.
the devs can modify these attributes on tiered basis; for example, if you have a Luke that’s leveled between 10 & 25 those attributes could be “X” ... then from levels 26 - 40 they could be “Y”.
I’m not saying this IS the case I’m saying that I’m seeing some initial evidence of this and other gamers have seen this out of other EA titles.
I’ve had the game since pre release and my overall rank is 50 ... BUT ... I have hero & villain individual character levels ranging from 10 all the way to 220 (because some characters just don’t match my play style). That being said it enables me to start experimenting with gameplay; using both high and low level characters in controlled gameplay modes and testing results. It does take quite a bit of setting up but what I’m doing is taking characters of different levels (both myself and others) and recording aspects of damage dealt, shots or swings per second / minute, dodge / evade, and mostly; ability nullfields and recording any differences.
I DO agree that there are ability bugs and if you look at a report I posted about a week ago regarding Kylo Rens “pull” ability you can see a video of just one of those bugs; however, I’m seeing many more.
what I’m trying to drill down and figure out is whether or not if a lower level attribute buff is or could be contributing to those bugs by way of programming. A total bug in this case should be totally random but I’m seeing a trend of consistency regarding when various bugs appear and that’s what made me question whether it was “just” a bug or a bug plus other aspects.
You're right @VetteC5RX since that last update, the bugs have got out of control. I'm seeing old bugs appear and many new ones. Also it seems to me using certain abilities against certain characters causes them to bug out. I've posted endless clips of bugs for a long time and not one time has any dev replied to at least acknowledge it so I give up caring now. When it comes to heroes v villains , it's quite obvious it will always have these bugs no matter what is causing them since most have been here since day one and the simple fact everyone says they don't test their bug fixes out

Agreed! I’ve noticed bugs over the last couple of years but after this last update I’ve noticed they’ve gotten worse.
some of the things like the Kylo Rens “frenzy” causing him to fly up into the air is an obvious bug ... but I’ve noticed more than that.
I just played a test match about 15 minutes ago; me as Captain Phasma at level 121 in HvV and was 1 on 1 against a level 12 Yoda .... Yoda used his “unleash” ability on me WHILE I was in the middle of a dodge/roll. Characters are not supposed to be impacted by abilities while in a dodge / roll; that’s part of the timing aspect of the game and previously that’s how the mechanical interactions worked. Tonite, the “unleash” did damage and a knock back on me while I was in the dodge; which shouldn’t happen.
I setup another match; this time the opposing team having a level 91 Yoda and his “unleash” ability did NOT do damage or a knock back while I was in the middle of a dodge.
I’m also noticing that the games matchmaking; especially on HvV & HS are matching higher level players with lower level players much more so than pre-update.

Well I've seen so much unplayable issues these last couple of weeks that I've changed game. Too many bugs that makes the game non enjoyable and unplayable plus the amount of quitters tells me a lot feel the same way (HvV). Constantly getting people quitting out almost every game on my team like I've never seen before since day 1 and I bet it's because they're experiencing the exact same issues and for me personally people quitting out are the worst issue in this game right now playing HvV solo. What chance do u have a man down, all the crazy bugs and facing a sweaty party of 4 being as toxic as can be haha

100% agree!!! Between the bugs and the poor matchmaking it’s making the game unplayable ... and that’s before the “theory” of lower level buffs.
sine the last update the game is legit unplayable and not at all fun.
I changed game modes to GA and am seeing similar issues with weapon spread as well as bugs on that game mode also.
I was a regular player on this game and dedicated a lot of time and support to this game but since the last update I’ve begun to give up on it and am
unlikely to support future SW titles if published by EA / DICE.
I’m putting those reports up and replies in “hopes” that EA actually read them and realize players (aka customers) aren’t happy with the state of the game. I sent a DM to Ben Walke about this; I don’t expect a reply but just to put it in front of him.
Sadly Friday the 13th, an indie game backed by crowd funding is more stable and balanced than BF2, a major title! How sad is that.
